Foster Family Quilts is a fully functional quilt and soft crafts store. We carry quilt materials and notions as well as knitting, crochet, embroidery, latch hook, and many kits by Dimensions covering many of these genres. We have a good assortment of notions for all these categories and make a huge effort to meet the soft crafting needs of our local communities.
With the addition of our Notling 24" machine quilter we are offering machine quilting services at very reasonable prices. We have many customers from as far away as Washington State North and Southern California South. We offer plain machine quilting to custom quilts based on your design or desire. Foster Family Quilts came into being in 2005 as an outgrowth of the Foster Home that the Owners, Barbara & Dan Steigman, had operated for many years. During those years they had 111 children, most of whom were drug exposed infants. They ended up adopting 7 of the most affected and only stopped doing Foster Care when their first adopted daughter had twin girls. Today, the Steigman's have opened a small soft crafts & quilt store in Corning, California in honor of those many children that they have served in the past.
