HELP WANTED
We are looking for the persons with great skills to teach classes in beading, scrap-booking, crocheting and knitting. The teacher will be paid by the students directly. Our shop space will be available at no charge. We do this due to our desire to see crafting grow in the North State. If you are a great crafter, can demonstrate your skills to Barbara in the craft you want to teach, and are willing to grow your own class, we will support you 100%.
Confessions of a newbie cross stitcher!
How many of you knew that cross-stitching could be dangerous to your health? I have now determined it is just as dangerous as football! You ask “how”? I got up from working a while on my lighthouse, took off walking away, and my left leg was missing. I ended up walking on the top of my foot when it was bent over backward and broke it! However, in true hobbyist fashion I sat back down and worked on the lighthouse for another 3 hours before I called the doctor! It has been almost a month and I am walking okay but oh I so don’t want to have my foot forced sideways! I have made a lot more progress but now that I am back to work teaching I am going to be slowed down dramatically. Good luck to all you hobbyists out there and have a great hobby season.
Holidays are coming!
It is hard to believe when it is 107 degrees outside but we are only 116 days away from Christmas. We are beginning the most exciting time of the crafting year. We will be adding stock for the season in the next month and we sincerely hope that you are prepared for all the fun you are about to have making the goodies for your friends and loved ones!
