Quilting Classes:
There are places for 8 students in each class. Cost is $35 per month plus any materials or supplies you use from the store. Students receive 20% discounts on items purchased while in a class. If more than 8 people sign up for any particular class another date and time will be added to the schedule to accommodate the overflow. Classes will be filled on a first come first served basis.
Bring your sewing machine in good working order, the instruction book for your machine (I’m going to try to convince you to use some features on your machine you’ve never used before) and basic sewing supplies, i.e. pins, needles, scissors, marking tools, rulers, (rotary cutters and mats if you have them). If you do not have a sewing machine you may use one of the shop's.
Currently there is a class meeting on Monday Evenings at 6PM. Other classes will be added as needed.
Sewing Classes:
Currently classes are held Monday at 10am. These classes are where you can learn to work with the basics of sewing, how to cut out patterns, choose materials, sew items together per instruction and try your items out. The class is taught by a craftsperson of great skill. Cost is $35 per month.

Beginning Quilting – If you’ve never quilted before this is the class for you. We will start with tools and techniques. You will make 4 different blocks and put them together in a wall hanging. This is a 4 week class for $40.00 and includes the fabric for your project. Sewing machine required.
Intermediate Quilting – This class is designed for those who have even a small amount of quilting experience. We briefly cover tools, cutting and selecting fabric. The project for this class will be a twin sized quilt. You will be able to select your fabrics at a discounted price if you choose to buy in our store. This is a 4 week class for $35.00 excluding fabrics – you will be given the pattern for the quilt and have all the templates, rulers, mats and goodies at your disposal. Sewing machine required.
Pillowcase Class – This is a really fun quick method to making pillowcases. Learn now and get a head start on next year’s Christmas gifts. You will get the Pillowcase Pizazz pattern and the fabric pack to make 2 standard sized pillowcases. Cost for this class is $35.00. Sewing machine required.
Binding Gizmo – Do those pesky bindings drive you crazy? Come to this class and find out what the Binding Gizmo can do to make finishing your beautiful quilt without all the headaches! You will get the Binding Gizmo and a beautiful placemat to practice your bindings on. You will also get bonus instructions on rounding corners, mitering corners, and roll-over bindings. The cost of this class is $45.00 and your sewing machine is required.
